Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra Two Wheelset

The Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra Two wheelset is the feather-light rocket in the Campagnolo lineup. Using a full carbon fiber rim, available in either a tubular or clincher version, the Hyperon Ultra Two cuts weight where it REALLY matters - the outside of the wheel. Physics says that the weight farthest from the center has the most impact on how easy it is to accelerate a wheel, and Campagnolo took that advice to heart when designing the Hyperon Ultra Two. Once you get it rolling, the Hyperon gives you a little help keeping things moving by using CULT ceramic bearings, which reduce drag and also save some weight. Further weight savings comes from an oversized aluminum axle and carbon fiber hubshells. The Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra Two wheelset isn’t just about low weight, though. With 22 stainless steel spokes up front and 24 in back, the Hyperon offers up a solid amount of stiffness for a wheel in this weight class. One other thing the Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra Two wheelset offers that others don’t is Dynamic Balancing, which adds a bit of extra carbon to the rim directly opposite of the valve to keep the wheels stable at speed.
