The Campagnolo Hyperon One wheelset brings light weight to the masses. Essentially a Hyperon Ultra Two built with a few concessions to the bean counters in mind, the Hyperon One weighs only 35 grams more than the Hyperon Ultra Two. Skipping the CULT ceramic bearings and the carbon hub shells used on the Hyperon Ultra Two makes the Hyperon One far more affordable. A further hint to the Hyperon One wheelset’s “everybody deserves light” mentality comes from its clincher-only configuration, which means you can benefit from low rotating mass without having to worry about the potential hassles associated with tubulars. Stiffness stays on par with the more expensive version by virtue of the same butted stainless steel spokes and all carbon rims. With the low weight of the Campagnolo Hyperon One wheelset, you’ll have no problem hauling the extra weight in your wallet up the hills.
