SRAM Force set a new standard in shifting performance, and SRAM Red Shifters makes the old Force seem almost primitive by comparison. SRAM Red shifters feature Zero-Loss travel for instant shifting engagement, brake and shift levers with independent reach adjustments, and dual cable routing which allows you to run any handlebar you want without getting a goofy housing bulge under your tape. It’s worth mentioning that SRAM shifters have the trim adjustment on the big ring, so keep in mind that if you like to spin out the small ring, you may run into some minor rubbing in cross-chained gears. Red shifters are compatible only with SRAM 10-speed front and rear derailleurs. All SRAM shifters are compatible with Shimano chains, cassettes, and cranksets.
