Zipp 202 Wheelset

The Zipp 202 wheelset is Paris-Roubaix strong and Alpe d’Huez light. Using Zipp’s 32mm toroidal-shaped all-carbon rim, the Zipp 202 provides an aero advantage but stays light at the same time. The 255 rims used on the 202 wheelset not only use the toroidal shape to cheat the wind, but they also have Zipp’s characteristic dimpling to decrease drag even further. Zipp uses Sapim CX-Ray J-bend spokes and external nipples to make the 202 wheelset durable and easy to true if you should ever happen to knock it out of alignment. Zipp laces the 202 wheelset up using a radial pattern in the front, and in the back they use a radial drive side and 1 cross non-drive side pattern. The different lacing patterns are designed to keep the 202 light while still providing a still wheel that accelerates quickly and corners well. The Zipp 202 wheelset uses Zipp’s 88 front hub an 188 rear hub, again making service a breeze, not that you’ll have much tinkering to do thanks to Zipp’s high quality bearings and super effective seals. Sorry clincher riders, the Zipp 202 wheelset only comes in a tubular version.
